SCENE ATLAS / BEGIN WITH IMAGE AND SOUND

How does a scene alter action, relation, and time?

Concepts emerge from concrete changes: an action fails to connect, a sound detaches from its source, a duration outlasts its task, or an utterance changes who may speak as “we.” The atlas currently holds 64 scenes across 16 films. Each index card gives the shot, location, and research question; shot facts and theoretical judgements unfold on its independent detail page.
