Primary evidence records what a page, shot, sound, or archive says or shows. A scholarly interpretation belongs to its named researcher and cannot be rewritten as Deleuze’s own claim. Editorial synthesis covers the site’s terminology, maps, cross-text readings, and shot analysis. A P4 proposition goes beyond its sources and must state what it inherits, what it changes, its cases, and what evidence would defeat it. Otherwise it remains a hypothesis or unverified lead.
Original wording, published translations, and the site’s working translations remain separate. A page locator belongs only to the named edition. Each translation is marked complete, partial, missing, or not applicable and links to its counterpart. Unconfirmed translators remain unnamed. A substantive translation change records the old wording, new wording, and evidence.
